PRESTIGE FM RADIO 91.7 Mhz, Minna, Niger State an arm of WADATA COMMUNICATION (NIGERIA) LIMITED (RC NO. 676032) is an independent media company which mainly focused on Consultancy services in Broadcasts media, professional and events management services. Its orientation is a media outfit providing professional equipment for studio and Broadcast media(radio and television)equipment with convergence of contacts for all electronic media, corporate organizations and Strategic Media consultancy Services.

WADATA COMMUNICATIONS has also focused on Radio and TV broadcast, Media training and capacity building,jingles, translation and montage. We work on high-end corporate Audio/video production. We find this work tremendously rewarding using our professional skills and modern technology which globally is based on Information and communications Technology (ICT). Also our Audio productions using Audio workstation Technology (AWS) has placed our productions on a high standard acceptable to broadcast stations. It is in our interest to provide our clients with the best 'production value' possible for their projects and Consultancy services.

At the moment Prestige Fm radio that started broadcast on June 19, 2017, covers substantial part of Niger State and can be listen Live on tune-in APP and Live Streaming on www.prestigefmradio.ng.

MANAGERIAL/TECHNICAL OFFICERS:

Zubair Abdurra’uf Idris (Lead Consultant/CEO);

Over 26 years’ experience in the broadcast industry as a Broadcaster and Manager offering advice in computerized/technical solutions to broadcasting. A former MD/CEO KSMC (Radio/TV) Kaduna, that sphere head the establishments CAPITAL TV, QUEEN FM ZARIA and ROCKSIDE FM KAFANCHAN. Currently, Instructor/Tutor at the Voice of Nigeria Training academy, Lagos taking courses in Digital Broadcast Technologies. The CEO was former senior Editor Africa Service Deutsche Welle for five Years and has received professional training at the Deutsche Welle Academy, Koln, Germany in Digital Studio Technologies and Productions. He is also the Founder/Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Prestige FM Radio Minna.

Zubairu Yahaya Kauru

Information Technology and Broadcast systems engineer with wide range of experience in setting up studios and troubleshooting networks for audio and video transport. He is Versatile in both local area networks and wide area networks using microwave and VSATs. He is also a certified fibre optics installer as well as transmission and studio facilities.

Uwais Abubakar Idris

An experienced broadcaster with over 23 years in the industry. He is a holder of B.sc Mass-communications and Master Degree in online Journalism. He has in-depth knowledge setup and maintenance of TV/ Radio studio Workstations and software. He is currently a freelance journalist with DW- Radio Germany. He has substantial shares in Prestige FM radio, Minna.

Philip Omachi (Producer/OAP)

An on-air personality in Pidgin English handling ‘Oga driver Programme ‘with KSMC FM radio (Capital Sound) Kaduna. An idoma by tribe has over the demonstrated his skills on radio talk show programmes in pidgin language. He was crowned Road Safety Ambassador.

Jacob Tyorunmu (Translator/Studio Manager)Experienced Broadcast systems engineer with vast experience in studios and transmission systems. A native Tiv from Benue State, served as translator in Wadata Communication Ltd and also a Studio manager in charge of productions for both audio and visuals.

Engineer Mohammed Ndatsu

Veteran broadcast engineer. A certified COREN engineer has worked with the Niger State Broadcast Services and Aso Radio and Television Abuja as Director Engineering before retiring after mandatory 35 years of service. He is experienced in setting up studios and transmission systems. Attended numerous training programmes in broadcast engineering and presently a consultant to the Media Service Centre, Kaduna where he offers training in broadcast engineering.

Mahmud Abdullahi (Director)

He is an experienced Journalist with an experience in both print and broadcast journalism. He was also a Media administrator holding strategic information and media management of Governor Kure’s administration in Niger State from 1999-2003. Currently General Manager/COO of Prestige Fm Radio Minna. He is knowledgeable in web casting and new media.

Yusuf D Aliyu (Quantity Surveyor/Secretary)

A competent quantity surveyor with over fifteen years working experience, he has handled quite number of projects and has rendered an impeccable service in the field. He is Secretary of the company.
